Andarikosam

Overseas Charitable Foundation Logo reflecting their NPO qualities

Recently started charitable foundation based in Andhra Pradesh/Telangana, India. Founded by a group of '85-'89 ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering) graduates of the Bapatla Engineering College, the organization aims to help the impoverished, from education to basic needs. "Andarikosam" is a Telugu (Central-Southern Indian language) term and translates into English as "for everybody". The logo represents growth, peace, and a helping hand. By incorporating Telugu into the logo, the organization is staying true to its roots while simultaneously appealing to its target audience.

Color Palette

I base the color palette for a project on how the client (or I) answers a few questions:

  1. What do you want the passerby to see? What do you want to communicate about this project at every user touch-point?
  2. How are you trying to say it? Angry, Friendly, Stirringly, etc.
  3. What do you already have that we can build off of?

Based on the answers to these questions, I create a palette that aligns with the client's goals;

Alizarin Crimson
