Bold Informative Mobile-First Website Proposal for Idgaf Creative

IdGaf Creative requested a simple website that contained two things: a description of the studio's motives and where to reach them. I played around with this simple idea and added several fun features to the website so users who check twice in a day see different things. The home screen background changes based on the time of the day of the user. In the morning it shows a sunny beach; in the afternoon, a sunset near a boardwalk; and at night, space. This website incorporates HTML, CSS, and JS in order to create a fluid and dynamic user experience.

Color Palette

I base the color palette for a project on how the client (or I) answers a few questions:

  1. What do you want the passerby to see? What do you want to communicate about this project at every user touch-point?
  2. How are you trying to say it? Angry, Friendly, Stirringly, etc.
  3. What do you already have that we can build off of?

Based on the answers to these questions, I create a palette that aligns with the client's goals;

Old Proposal

These next few images show my old website proposal, before the suggested face-lift. It was bright, but too bright. It was simple, but too simple for a growing business that might need a content management system (CMS).
