R3 Services, Branding

Brand Consultation & Logo Design for a quickly-growing full-spectrum accommodation provider.

R3 Services provides “end-to-end” accommodations for clients arriving from overseas. These accommodations include corporate housing, transportation, cellular services, family service and much more.

For this project, the company commissioned an overall face-lift for their brand identity, which needed to reflect the company's two main ideals: a global reach and a progressive attitude. As per any commissioned "face-lift", the projects calls for combining the unique aspects of the older brand image with our vision for the future face of the company.

Color Palette

We originally started with a tricolor palette to represent the three values of the company (scroll down). However, the more colors that were incorporated into the logo, the less cohesive the logo, and transitively, the brand, looked. To solve this problem, we chose one, bright, friendly, yet solid, color.

Older Renditions

This desaturated tri-color pastel palette was chosen to embody the core values of the company:

  • yellow, The homeliness, friendliness and refreshing optimism that comes from the feeling of “home, sweet, home”,
  • green, trust and honesty that can only be fostered from a good reputation and quality service,
  • blue, the intelligence to have the know-how and local connections to assure that the clients’ needs are always met.

Since the website (and by translation, the logo) is going to be visited both overseas and nationwide, a consistent pastel and warm color scheme throughout a professional-looking website and logo. This sets the company apart from its competitors who use dark colors that, knowingly or unwittingly, represent night-life. However, we decided against this purely for boldness and friendliness of the orange (scroll up).
